Jon barrels into LmaHmPod’s woodsy-cabin this week with our first firm foray into off-world oddities, Goodbye Tomorrow. An upbeat number about a sort of apocalypse. Sort of. It is a pitch for a horror movie after all. Act 1 sees, amongst others, some chunky feedback from JDubz, including some ‘far-seeing’ with feedback on today’s as yet unheard pitch! Act 2 as always rattles through the things we enjoyed that we stare at with our eyes, and there’s a snifter of an Act 4 given that Jon already pre-named his pitch. Tsk. Oh and Jon's new name is '3DK'.

A somewhat recovered Dave takes centre stage in Act 3 for this episode’s Horror Movie pitch ‘Down The Mountain’. You know when stuff happens on a mountain, it’s infrequently pleasant. In Act 1 we’re treated to a listener’s ‘choose your own feedback’ feedback on the prior LMAHMian Gordian Knot and Act 2 skates around things wot goes in ears and eyes. It’s a late showing for our Halloween Special second leg, arriving on the very eve itself.. Spooky! (Also illness.) Jon delivers a veritable feast of deceased 'younglings' in his quest to pitch a Horror Movie that ghoulishly delivers on the “true spirit of Halloween”. Act 1 kicks off LMAHMPod’s first inter-listener spat, whilst in Act 2 Dave & Jon take a brief wander through ITV’s latest Horror TV show, Halloween 3, Little Monsters and Creepshow. It’s October and the first of two Halloween Specials – apt for our 10th episode milestone! It’s also a Dave week, and in Act 3 he delivers his pitch ‘The Last Bear’, a modern tale of all hallows horror. In Act 1 we cover off feedback to Jon’s pitch ‘Hand of Anubis’ from Ep 9, and in Act 2 we take a turn about the grounds of the current cultural landscape inc. Molly Gloss, '3 From Hell', 'Crawl', 'Codename: Blank' podcast and Ed Gein's domestic upholstery. All heavily infused with silly, having previously been distilled in nonsense. Also, most of the Beatles make an appearance… somehow or other.

Jon sallied into Episode 9 with the confidence of a man who knows he’s got a cracking horror movie pitch in his pocket. Being an ‘odds’ week its KJyon’s turn and he doesn’t disappoint with his delirious descent into the demented ‘Hand of Anubis’. JDubz pitches his thoughts on Ep 8’s ‘Spoils of War’ back to us in Act 1 (as well as a wee tune he made) and Act 2 touches on Tigers Are Not Afraid with an update on Jon’s ‘Kingian’ condition. Plus all the usual morbidly glib nonsense.

It’s a Dave week. He’s had a drink, a bit tired, prone to a rant and more than a little bit sweary, however in Act 3 delivers ‘Spoils of War’, a horror movie pitch of [potentially] epic proportions, set in Asia Minor. Jon answers some feedback on Ep.7’s ‘Empty Skin’ pitch and accuses Stephen King of ‘borrowing’ his ideas, plus a quick note on Korean movie The Wrath as well as all the usual nonsense... Oh and we have an intro. For now at least.

Continuing Dave & Jon's Horror Movie Pitch adventure, Dave regains the reins for this week's Horror effrontery. In this episode Act 1 sets The Triceratops on the right track with an embarrassment of listener improvements, someone continues picking holes in Ep4's demonic island antics and in Act 2 we discover Jon has been 'building up' to IT 2 in a sort of metaphysical sense whilst Dave has been putting things in his ears. Act 3 is another small mental breakdown. This time in t'English countryside in a not so distant future… or future past.. or future future.. or something..

It’s a Jon/John pitch-week. The Sawney Bean origin story movie-pitch from Ep 4 gets deliciously updated in Act 1, adding a bit more sauce to ‘the Beans’. Dave loses his marbles over 2003’s ‘TipToes’ whilst Jon advocates for more cannibalism in print. Also, Act 3 sees Jon pitch his dystopian nightmare movie – Triceratops.
